Cool Fanuc Canned Cycle MACROS

Please help;

Can someone provide me the actual MACROS (embedded) for all the "drilling" Canned Cycles?

Ex. G71 thru G89

Greatly appreciated!

It's not the same across every machine and its not all necessarily all macro... need control model, machine type, machine model, ladder version, options installed, etc, etc....

What happened that you need them?

for Training.

I will be using these Macro's for classic Macro-B examples in training.
The concept is already established - perfect!

18i and Oi controls.

I don't know how to find the macros behind the G-code cycles, but my Hardinge CHNC has some macros that Hardinge wrote to supplement those with some of their own, like a drilling, die head, knurling, cutoff macros. Want some?

beege. I like and use the Hardinge drilling subprogram on all the Fanuc controlled lathes in the shop. I've offered to share it in a couple threads pertaining to drilling. Only one person ever took an interest. I gave him the subprogram, and never heard another word from him.

I also use their Safe Index Subprograms on all the Fanuc controlled lathes where it will work. Sure makes setting your index position easy.

Guess not getting a response back is part of life. I will keep posting as I enjoy passing along hard-earned knowledge. Wish I had this and practical machinist forum available to me 20 years ago.

I have been teaching myself to macro program the past year. I didn't understand the Hardinge drill subprogram macros either. Now I do. It isn't hard.

G65P9136K-1.5B.02F.007W.5C.25A.2Z-.3

Look in a Fanuc operator's manual. Each letter represents a local variable. The G65 loads the value from each letter into its corresponding variable. The subprogram then uses these values to do the drilling.

I am currently using the G65 macro call for 3 different subprograms I wrote. I plan on writing a few more. They are the cat's meow!

They are not macros

Fanucs use parameters and ladder logic to execute canned cycles.

You are correct. The G70-G76 canned cycles are not macros. The Hardinge programs beege is referring to are not canned cycles or macros. They are subprograms that use local variables the programmer assigns in a G65 Macro call.

I was trying to help him understand how they work. I misused the word 'macros' when I said "I didn't understand the Hardinge drill subprogram macros either." I should have used the word "variables", or more precisely "local variables".

I will try to do better next time...BUT no guarantees.

Hey G-code guy, I would like a copy of that hardinge drilling macro, the 9136, I have a copy of the 9135, it works good but the 9136 lets you drop in a counter bore with the Z variable (sweet) if you need to, I guess I could alter the 9135 but if you could send me a copy it would be nice. thanks
