    Unhappy MF-D4 Controllers

    Dear all.
I have lather machine made by mori seiki ZL 15SM, it used MF-D4 controller the same with FaNUC 0-M controller. Once power off and on the spindle and tool function can not run in Memory mode, it can run in manual mode. I don't know why because the monitor has not any errors and warning.
Please help me to solve this problem.
    Thanks and best regard.

You need to command M45 for milling mode function and M69 for C-axis unclamp (C-axis rotation). If you command speed for rotary tool holder, you need to mount a rotary tool holder as there may have detection switch at rear of driveshaft.

I suggest you check NC and PC parameters on machine against the parameter setting list that came (attached)with this machine. Good Luck!

Make sure the machine has ref-properly and then check for interlocks
You need to pull up the ladders and check Automode and see what is not making the run-could be as simple as not seeing the tool in the spindle
