    Exclamation Fanuc O-M controller - 522 T/M6 error

I have a new Max-4 Rebel Mill in the shop with Fanuc O-M controller. Everything seems to be fine except that I keep getting this alarm when I try to call up a tool (522 T/M6ERROR). Can anyone help me resolve this? X,Y and Z have been zero returned prior to this alarm.

This is "macro alarm". YCI uses macro program to run tool change. You may have accidently deleted that program or it is corrupted. Check your parameter 240 through 242 and see if any of these are set to 6. Here's how it works,
If parameter 240 = 6 (then your tool change program is O9001),
if 241 = 6 (then your tool change program is O9002)
if 242 = 6 (then your tool change program is O9003).
And also you will need to change parameter #10 bit 4 (5th one from right) = 0 to be able to view or edit the macro program. If you have lost this program, you will have to contact YCI to get a copy. Good luck.

    Thank you

Thank you fanucservicetech. It was actually that I was inputting the tool number before the m6. My actual problem was during transport, a key in the gear reduction of the tool changer motor snapped and the changer wasn't moving to prox switch position.
