Problem- Fanuc 11m won't helical interpolate

We have an old 1984 mori seiki hm-40 with a Fanuc 11m controller. The parameter is turned on 9100(bit #2) I'm using a proven program from another machine but this was run on a okk with mitsubishi m2 control. The guy from Fanuc thinks it is my program, I can't believe it is. Any help would be appreciated.

The code looks ok and backplots ok. Are you getting an alarm?

no alarm but the machine moves in on z then interpolates.

have you tryed using loops....try changing you post output to do subroutine

Have you ever tried to do a 3-axis feed move (G01 G91 X-1. Y-1. Z-1. F20.)? I seem to remember running into an old machine with a Fanuc that was only 2-axis simultaneous... 3-axis simultaneous was an option.

I have this problem on some of my older controls. If you have a number in cutter comp, take it out and try it.

Some of the older 11m controls did not have helical interpolation available. It was not available as an option. The software has to be upgraded, and cost big $$. Our 84 and 85 MV55's will not do helical. This is how we found out that some controls were not capable.

Ok, had some other problems with the machine (tools flying out of spindle). Tried the 3-axis simultaneous and it does work. Tried putting a b move in and moves in all 4 simultaneous. I don't have a cutter comp set. I use gibbs cam and I'm not sure how to post in loops. Any other ideas?

just for a test, turn off the modal letters on your post, and see if it will work with full code lines.. eg.

I suspect that option is not turned on for your machine - sorry, don't recall the settings for the option parameters either.
