| Fanuc 21i-TB on a Takasawa-T 308EX Lathe; I am having issues teaching some live tooling to a part that I'm trying to cross drill a hole into. I would have thought that you touch off the part and then set the offset, but it seems that it is not that simple. When I do that my X-zero is offset almost +.200, so my drill never comes in contact with that part. I have poured through that manuals and been on the phone with my Fanuc guy and even he is stumped. Anyone have any suggestions? |

| This may be a dumb suggestion, but with a live radial tool you have to remember you are programming in Diameter. If you want the live tool to go-.250 into the part you have to program -.500 from the O.D. of the part. |
