    Battery circuit or mother board

I was hoping to get some input from the more experienced guys on this forum. I was looking at a kitamura H300 1992 with a 15ma control...it has a full 4th , but they said that it either needs a battery circuit or motherboard they are not sure....they're asking 12K for it...(obviously i'll try too talk them down) What do you think it's worth?

Now does anyone know whether this would be worth it? Am I going to get into all kinds of problems with this or is it worth a crack?...Would all the parameters be lost and if they don't have them backed up would it be worth it? Oh by the way this would be for my little shop not to fix and re-sell it.

If they have lost the parameters, you will need the basic parameters, option parameters, counter, keep relay values, 9000 programs.
The 15 is an enhanced 11, it is quite a powerfull control.
You would need to contact Kitamura to see if they can supply the Para. etc.
If you buy, make sure you get all the manuals, both Fanuc and Kitamura, including a hard copy of the ladder, if they have it.
Apart from the mechanical condition, the rest depends on getting the Par.
If they are unable to demonstrate it running, I would not expect it should go for over $10,000 at the very most, if you can get it for $8k, it may be worth the chance.
