FANUC O-M Series 510-colt ATC

Can anyone help me?
I am VERY new to cnc and purchased a used 510 kiwa colt
I had a problem with the travels on the x and y axis being locked out in the parameters and was told to just do a system clear.
BUT now when you run a program in auto, the tool carousel will remove tool rotate carousel (to a random tool, not the one specified in the program)
but the carousel will not go up to insert the tool. Tool changer will do a change in jog mode to the next tool in sequence.
and machine will run a single tool program provided that the tool specified in the program and the tool carousel position correspond.

Any help would be much appreciated, just tell me where to send the beer....
