    How to reload window NT on Fanuc 160I Help!

    We have a HMC with Fanuc 160i MA which loaded with Window NT 4.0, but the hard drive was bad now, we need reload window, we have window CD. Please help if you know how to load the window on a new Hard drive.

    Maybe, Format and prep the new harddrive in a PC, the put it back in the controller. Does it have a cd rom ?

    windows nt reload

    Depending on how old the PC board is in your control.... you may only get 512 meg out of the drive. Also, one thing to note is that if you dont have a 4 gig drive you will have to partition the drive into at least 2 partitions one being 4 gig. This will be the partition that NT will install on. NT 4.0 was restrictive in that way.Those extra gigs can still be accessed but as a separate partition.
