Fanuc 400 alarms and other

I am having a boat load of problems with my fsg-2460 grinder. I keep getting 400 alarms and such. Also, my table often stops halfway to dressing. I have to push the table the rest of the way. When it doesnt stop, it slams so hard into the dress posistion, that it trips more alarms !!! Any thoughts ? I have manuals, but after spending much time reading ( between running the other grinders ) I am having no such luck.

Something is stuck.

Remove top of the table and take a look under it.
I guess it could be a faulty servo motor as well.

Did you notice it was a 24x60" surface grinder ? ? ? ? ?
Taking the table off is easier said than done..

Nope,I missed that.
Forget the table unless you have a forklift.
Something is sluggish so try to remove some covers and take a look.
A lead screw is probably moving the table.See if it's dry.

I have the forklift, and have removed table before, just not very much fun. The table is hydraulic.

Disconnect the hydraulic hoses and move the table.
If it's easy to move then it's the hydraulic system.

Right now, i can move the table by hand with everything hooked up normally.

Maybe it's a hydraulic valve?

See, that's what i was thinking.....

I removed all electrical connections from the hydo box to the grinder. Still problems. I think i might try the hoses.
