Fanuc 3T Parameter & Alarm List

I have an operator manual for the 3T Model C that lists the parameters and alarm codes. I am not sure what the difference is between Model A and C but if this is of use I can FAX it or scan and email. Let me know if you want a copy.

regards Dave

The alarm 86 happens when there is no signal on the serial port pin #6 or pin #8. Usually, we put a jumper on the Fanuc end of the serial cable that connects pins 6, 8, and 20 together. Pin 20 is an output from the Fanuc, and it holds pins 6 and 8 on all the time, eliminating the alarm.

Here's the cable we use for connecting the Fanuc 3T to a standard 9-pin serial port:

Fanuc side PC side
pin 1 ------- cable shield
pin 2 --------------------- pin 2
pin 3 --------------------- pin 3
pin 5 --------------------- pin 7
pin 7 --------------------- pin 5
pin 6 -----
pin 8 ----- <-- jumper these 3 together
pin 20 ----

Fanuc FAPT to NC

I am having trouble getting my FAPT to load programs into the NC. I get "I/O not ready." Anyone have any solutions or advice for this.

Thank you...
