    Question Program Memory problem in FANUC 0i Mate MC

    Wish You a Very Happy New Year 2008.

    The machine used for Die-mould application. As the program is too big, we split the programs in parts and transfer (through RS232) one part at a time into the CNC memory. After executing the same program we delete the program from CNC memory and send the next part for execution.
    During program transfer to CNC memory (Through RS232) if power supply fails the system shows PS101 at next power on. As per manual we do ‘PROG’ + ‘RESET’ to clear the alarm as well as the corrupted program.
    With the above exercise the alarm can be reset and the CNC memory also shows no program in the Dir but the memory shows it is full. Hence no new program can be transferred to the system.

    Tried P3202#2=1 to get the CONDNS soft key. After problem repeat, followed the steps;

    PS101 output after power On
    PROG + RESET to clear the Alarm as well as the last program.
    EDIT mode, OPRT pressed
    third Soft Key is CONDNS
    after pressing this SK it ask for “ALL” or “THIS”
    Tried both the option but nothing happened.

    Kindly suggest......

    Have you tryed deleting all the memory???? This usually works...Please note that you must have the machine backups to initialize the control after you delete all.

    GP.

    GP.

    I am searching for a permanent solution of this problem. I am restoring the machine only doing RESET+DELETE and reload the backup every time.
