Hello, I have a question regarding our Matsuura LX-0 with the L-Tech 15i control. I am wanting to program an interpolation of a circle at the most highest accuracy possible using hpcc (AiCC) G05.1 Q1 R1. Listed below is an example of what we are currently doing. Is there a better way of doing this? Like programming the circle in quadrant's instead of full circle? Or arc in at a 45 degree instead of 0 or 90 degrees? Program using NUMBRS? Were getting a little to much out of roundess. The part itself is a casting with an partial opening on the pocket circle which I am arcing in at and out to prevent any "bumps". Our main goal is to achieve the most circular round part as possible with minimal runout. Thank You for your time. % T1M6 G0G90G54X0Y0M3S30000 G43H1Z1.0M8 G05.1Q1R1 G1Z.1F200. Z-.5F100. | Just because you have R1 in the program doesn't mean that it will be the best best accuracy for what you are doing. I am doing bore grinding on a vertical grinding centre using R8 in AI NANO and this seems to be giving me the truest bore. You may want to experiment R1 - R10 to see what is best for you. Also if this is cast material you will want to rough the hole first to make it is round before you start finishing, because if you start out of round you will end out of round. |
