    FANUC-6M SPINDLE ORIENTATION

    HELLO FRIENDS,

WE HAVE ONE HITACHI SEIKI WITH FANUC 6M CONTROLLER.

THE PROBLEM IS WHEN WE GIVE M19 COMMAND THE SPIDLE IS COMMING TO ORIENTATION POSITION BUT AGAIN IT STARTS TO ROTATE CONTINUOUSLY. THE ORIENTATION PCB SETTING IS DISTURBED

THE MAIN BOARD NO IS A20B-1001-O120
THE ORIENTATION PCB NO IS A20B-0008-003.

HOW DO I ADJUST THE ORIENTATION PCB.

THERE ARE 11 POTENTIOMETERS FOR ADJUSTMENTS.

CAN ANYBODY GIVE ME THEIR INDUVIDUAL VALUES LIKE WHAT K Ohms.

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME IN GIVING THE SPINDLE DRIVE MANUAL.

    THANKS
    CHANDU

You should tell number of model of spindle amplifier. I have 6M controller on Hitachi Seiki, but there is another spindle amp.

    Dear Chandu
I have been looking throw my books.
First look on ur orientation card and are there any led-diodes. There should be led-diode with name IN POSITION. So when u rotate spindle it should turn off and on when spindle pass over orient. position. If it isnt blinking the sensor may be to far from element or it may be broken or the cable is in break.
So give command M19 and look.

There are 3 switches, resembling potentiometers, on my orientation card. Each of them forms binary presentation of hexadecimal number, represented on switch surface. Significance of first x 2^0, second x 2^4, third x 2^8. Summary significance is angle of spindle indexing.
