We have an OD grinder that has 3axis. The 3rd axis is the Work spindle or chuck. Uses an actual axes motor and not a spindle motor. Machine can be in either pos mode(eliptical grinding) or spindle(rotary) mode.(M3 M4 Sxxxx I need to stop the 3rd axes in a certain position to load a part. M19 is not provided from the OEM-Hellenberger. In position mode the axes will eventually hit a Soft Overtravel. 1) I could use a prox and tie it into the skip function with a little macro.Looking for something better 2). Is there a way to reset the pos buffer every rev in pos mode Or any other idea's that might be fun??? Thanks Last edited by bigalow; 11-07-2007 at 07:18 PM. Reason: wrong cnc model |
