    Fanuc System



    Hi All,

    Thanks for reply to my last posts. actually im new to this field.

    I tried to upload programms to Fanuc 6M from PC through RS232 port. using many DNC softwares.

    I got alam called 086 . I check every thing according to replys i got from my last post.

    But still problem is there . Now i want to check this RS232 port and the build cable inside the fanuc system. how can i do that ?

    That fanuc cable inside system has 50pin i cant realize that port. ( the cable plug to mother board in the fauc system)


    Pls help me.

    Comunication controller 6.

    You must find a DB-25 female plug in the machine, that is the port used o comunicate the machine with the PC.

    The larm 086 is because the control is not sensing the signal from he cable, this due to a bad port or a bad cable or cable configuration.

    Check that an let us know.

    My manual says: "When the optional punch interface is equipped, either C14 or C15 connector is provided on the front door of the NC."
    EIA RS232C interface
    C15(1) - protective ground
    C15(7) - signal ground
    C15(2) - transmitted data (TXD)
    C15(3) - received data (RXD)
    "C15" - plug
    "(..)" - # of pin
