Unhappy Please help me! Fanuc 3T control Fault!!!

Hello everybody!!!

I am a new memmber of CNCZONE forum.
I have just met a CINCOM F16 Machine was made by Cityzen. It used FANUC 3T CONTROL.
There was an system arlam appear when I started the machine as follow:
System arlam : No 03 . Program memory : Parity high.
After that we could not do any thing.
This is a very old machine and control system. We don not have any document.
We kindly hope receiving an instruction from one of you that will help us solve the problem.(Or any one show us to find the documents of this control system).Thank you so much.

You probably just need to clear the part program memory. I know there is a procedure for this, but I can't remember what it is. Maybe one of the other forum members knows ..

I know that you have to hold one of the panel buttons while turning on the control. The Fanuc 3T operators manual has a table of these "memory clear" operations. There is one for clearing all the parameters also, so please don't use "trial and error" here.

You may also have a battery that needs to be replaced, which can cause this problem.

Buy me a Beer?

Fanuc manual just say that the work memory ram could be defective and change the mother board.
If all else fails you may be able to just change the Ram IC's on the mother board, if you can get them.
They are two IM6116's , one above the other & 2141 to the right of them.

Thank Dan Fritz and Al The Man so much for your immediate help.
I also thought of them. But if you can not show me how to clear memmory ( the button to operate),it is difficult to try to do althrough I want to do this first.
And Al The Man, I will find a Ram IC as you show me after that I will change the old one.I hope I will solve my problem by this way.Thank you!

I would try to clear the memory and reload parameters.
Switch the Parameter enable switch on.
Power up holding in the "Reset" and "Delete" pushbuttons.
Reload parameters and diagnostics

Dear Al_The_Man,
I will try to clear or change the Ram IM 6116's as you showed me.But I do not have any parameters table of this machine!I read all the content of discussion about Fanuc controler and I know maybe you have the parameter table of my machine. So can you send one copy sheet to me? I am afraid of removing of clearing Ram Memory with out a backup parameter.

Little bit late, but may help someone else.
I just got over an alarm3 high parity on a fanuc 3T.
Power on holding ONLY delete button. Erased programs, did NOT erase offsets or parameters.
Reload programs.
Off to the races.

OK maybe it's a lot late.
