I Am Working On A Toyada Fa550 Horozontial W/a 15m Control. Iam Trying To Circle Interp Using D Comp. Everything Works Except The Feed Is Incorrect W/the Actual Of The Machine, Ex rogramed For F8.29 Actual Is F2.2. People Have Told Me This Normal W/toyodas, I Find This Very Hard To Believe But Yet Have No Answers. Is There A Setting Or Parameter That I Can Adjust This With. Any Help Would Be Appreciated! Thanks Mike! |

| Hello Mike , Its normal and its called automatic corner override. When cutter comp is on the feedrate it slowed down in inner corners and in circular areas, this reduces the load on the tool and produces a smoothly machined surface. G62 cuts off automatic corner overide G64 cuts it on. My machine slows down alot around corners and arcs even with cutter comp off the machine slows down the feedrate so it will stay on the toolpath. Like in a car you have to slow down to go around a curve to stay on the road .Look up G62 in your manual there are several pages explaining it and i don't fully understand it . Tim
