Getting an error ps272 (intreference) I can cancel the error switch to manual move the tool up and away then reset the program returning to the last op and restart and it finishes the same function with out error.  |

| Many of the Fanuc error explanations are a bit cryptic, PS272 is "overcutting will occur during cutter compensation" Not sure how exactly to interpret that though, apart from the cutter comp being too large? Al.

| Ahhh that would make sense like I said im new to CNC, but the one who wrote the program is not. I have searched for some books on this controller with not to much luck (new guys run the ancient equip). I appreciate the help. |
