FANUC 16i Turn off B Axis

Im working on a Kitamura horzontal maching center. I belive I have a bad cable from the B axis drive to the endcoder. The machine is in alarm. Dose anyone know what parameters to turn off to shut off the B axis and get this machine out of alarm. I need to move the Z axis forward to gain axcess to the B axis motor and endcoder conection.

    4TH Axis parameters

Parameter 1010 will be for your # of axises. Change to 3. I believe there are others you have to change but I don't have my list with me right now. I'll try to post them tomorrow or you could always call FANUC 1-888-FANUC-US (1888-326-8287) EXT 2.
