Hello, Does anyone know how to set the work offsets (X & Z) via program on a Fanuc 0T control. I can get to these values via "MDI - Offset Screen - Work offsets" to manually enter values, but I'd like to set these via program control. The standard G54 work offset gives a P/S alarm.... command not valid. Is there a way to load this with the G10 Parameter command? I don't know how. Thanks, John |

| You need to check if you have P900 #1=1 G10, You should have P910 #1=1, this is the G54 ~ offsets. Al.

| The parameters are numbered from 0 from right to left, so for G10 your P900 should be xxxxxx1x and the G54 should be xxxxxx1x. You will not see the 900 option parameters in any book, as these are the one Fanuc charge you for. Al.

| Al, Again, your quick responses are much appreciated!!! I just tried setting P910 from 1001 1000 to 1001 1010 and got scary results. After rebooting and verifying that the parameter did change, I tried an MDI G54 and still got a P/S 010 alarm. Also, with that new bit set I could not perform a Zero-Return on the C-Axis of this machine. I reset P910 bit 1 back to zero, rebooted and the C-Axis zero-return worked once again. Who is being stupid, me or my machine? John |

| Anybody..... Looking through the small amount of documentation that I have for the 0T, it seems to imply that G54 offsets were only supported on the 0M version and not the 0T version. If that's the case, how are the Work Offsets entered other than on the MDI Offset Page (via program). John |
