Is there a code for Read Ahead in fanuc 18iT, and how much will this short down machining time? (roughly)..

G8 P1 to turn it on. G8 P0 to turn it off. if you have that option that it. It is not to reduce cycle time but to improve surface finish.

it will save time if you are engraving. you might have to slow your feedrate down though.
