Usually a 101 alarm is corrupted program in memory. If you are doing a tool change it was probably running a O9000ish program (macro program). Hopefully you have a copy of programs saved somewhere. You'll need to clear program memory ONLY and reload programs.
This is a simple alarm. What it means is that the atc cycle was interrupted, either by a power issue, or (usually) an operator issue. What hangs most people up is that they enter the atc override mode, usually a button, and put the the atc into a state that LOOKS right. Tool pot back up, arm rotated, etc.
This is not enough.
What you need to do to clear the alarm is to go through the entire manual override sequence, in order. On our Yasnac controls this usually means initiating the override sequence (button on side of control) and then using the coolant on(pot down), coolant off(tool arm cycled), osp(tool arm up), and single block(pot up) buttons, in that order, and then go into the parameter settings and correct the tool pot assignments.
The routine is in your book somewhere, though we wrote it out in plain english and keep it on the 'writ of common knowledge.,
