Default 0-MD Machine loses absolute coord with reset

I'm operating an EAGLE 1000 with a fanuc 0-md control.
Every time the reset button is pressed the absolute coordinate values change losing the g54 coord reference. The only way to bring the right coords back is to reference the axis (xyz home).

    any help please

It is the diagnostic no (DGN) that you check press the param/dgn button twice to display dgn screen, then page down to g127.

DGN G127 bit 2 = 1 mean Absolute is on
Your machine doesn't have a Absolute manual switch but you can go to OPR page to turn it off

It was the switch on the OPR page set wrong. THink it was the apprentice pressing buttons again!!
