| I think I know what your after. You could sort of have a menu at top of a macro program. (NUMBER OF TEETH?) #100= (ACTUAL DIAMETER?) #101= . ... and so on... . You cannot rename "#100" to NUMBER OF TEETH". You could do something like that in Visual Basic or even in Word. The only other option to set varibles is to use G65P8500A?T?D?... and set varibles using arguments. A sets #1, D sets #4... I always wanted to use Word(VBA) to run macros that would output standard G code... but who's got the time. I'm a "button pusher" by trade, they won't pay me to "play". Don't know of any other ways using macro b. -Jim |
