I have a 1990 Chevalier VMC with a 0M-C control. Have never had a problem - until today. I use G54, etc to set work coordinates. Normally, once I set coordinates and Z offsets for each tool, I can have the table and spindle at any location, put control in automatic - and program will reference machine home and programmed tool offset. Now, wherever the table and spndle are are where the program starts from. If Z is down from home - crash etc. Works normally if XYZ are all at home. Have not made any changes - new programs look like old programs. Typical Start of program: G0 G17 G40 G49 G80 G90 T4 M6 G0 G90 G54 X-2.Y-1. S436 M3 No parameter changes made ever - same code works normally on a Oi-MC control machine. I'm sure I must have somehow caused this change in behavior. Any insight will be greatly appreciated. |

| Reading other posts - I tried the following: on operator panel screen changed abs/man from off to on (using left/right arrows) and problem seems to be solved Thanks Darkos! Still don't know how it changed however. By the way awesome board - I'm ashamed to saw that I mostly lurk. |
