Loose connections?
I'm getting a ex1002 alarm.. spindle did not start.. the spindle will spin intermittently after I press cycle start..
It never gets to high rpm though.. The spindle on button will light intermittently with it..
Any ideas?

Is that an over travel alarm? If so that might explain why the spindle is shutting down.
Can you reference the machine?

No I can't.. the buttons are lit like the estop is pulled.. the reset button is lit and the drives won't come on.. I do think a loose connection probably, in the estop circuit somewhere.. the machine that I originally made this post about , I fixed it. The block a relay went in was bad..
Same thing but different router.. guess I just have to look over the estop circuit.. I'm not that good at reading the schematics yet.. previous people have jumped stuff out on the router too..
jd,
I have a hard time believing that the machine has simultaneously hit the + and - over travel switches.. on all three axises. Check the power supplies that provide power to the limit switches. You're probably looking for a 24 volt DC supply.
