IF machine has negative backlash from my ball bar reading but value in 1851 is a 1. According to this i would need to change value to -100 to make a 10 micron adjustment. However Fanuc manual states value must be greater the 1. has anyone ever encountered anything like this?
i set value with negative sign only in Y axis on a turning lathe bacuse the Y is referenced in middle of ballscrew so you travel for work both sides.
the rest i never put negaive,it seems is not working on one way travel ballscrews.
