Default Toyoda . FH 55. Fanuc 15 MA

Need help loading pmc parameters using the hex looking backup.

Got the cnc side loaded from previous saved file.

Can't get the PC parameters to load.

    Were saved recently by fanuc.

    Since I tried:

    I/O, input, fdcas, exec.

Says executing, then sendfrom laptop and says file error.

    Tried chanel.1,and 2 .
    Cd4a and cd4b.

    Tried different baud rates etc.

We don't have original paper copy of orignally parameters.

Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not an expert, but I'm currently fighting with my Fanuc 10 m PMC data,
One question, did you try to turn it into decimal number (via hexadecimal converter) and input it by hand

    Try this:
    inputting PMC parameters:
    turn on PWE
On the MDI panel, press the <NC/PC> key. Page 5/5
    Press {>} key.
    Press {EDIT} key.
    Press {>} key again.
    Press the {PASWRD} key.
    Press the {ENAON} key.
    Press the {<} key twice.
    Press the {>} key once.
    Press the {PCPRM} key.
    Press the {>} key
    Press the {MODE} key
Select the data transfer rate to be the same as in parameter 5112 (has to be 4800 or 9600).
    Press the {KEEPRL} key.
On the MDI keypad in the lower left corner, press the double left arrow key TWICE to get you to KeepRelay #18. This is address K17. Make sure you are on the right line.
Set K17 bit 7 to a one ( Enter 10000000 and press the MDI key “INPUT”).
This permits entry of PC Parameters.
    Press the right arrow key.
    Press the {<} key.
    Press the {>} soft key.
    Press the {SYSPRM} key.
Choose “PG Channel” on the screen. Change the zero to one by pressing <1> and <INPUT> on the MDI keypad.
    Press the {<} key.
    Press the {I/O} key.
    Press the {FDCAS} key.
    Press the {INPUT} key.
    Press the {EXEC} key.

YOU ARE NOW READY TO INPUT THE PC PARAMETER FILE
FROM YOUR COMPUTER TO YOUR CONTROL.

From the computer, send the PC Parameter file.
Your control screen will say ”INPUT COMPLETED”.

Make sure that there isn't any strange text next to the % sign. Sometimes the Fanuc controller outputs these but can't read them. Post the file and I can look at it.

First, you have lost ALL volatile data, such as parameters, programs, offsets. You have to have these to restore.
As guhl asks, what happens when you exit IPL by pressing 6 and enter?

That means that the control has to be powered up holding the 7 and 9 keys pressed until you see the control clearing data. Then, after exiting the IPL screen, you should get a "normal" screen with many alarms, because the parameters are gone.

Press and hold 7 & 9 at power up.This clears all memory. Then press 99 INPUT. It's going to ask for passwords which you won't have. Just press INPUT several times till you get back to the IPL screen. Now see if 6 will allow you to exit.

Because you have absolute position encoders, you get APZ alarms.
This means the axes need to be re-positioned.
To clear your APZ alarms, set parameter 1815, bit 4 (which is the APZx bit) to zero for all axes (there will be one line for each axis your machine has).

After you have changed the bit for the first axis, an alarm will come on that power must be turned off. Continue setting the APZ bits to zero for each remaining axis.
Turn the control off and on again.

am not sure if entering PC parameters will clear OH002N FUN MOTOR STOP alarm.

I CHECKED THE 1815 PARAMETER ALREADY BIT 4 ALL AXES VALUE IS 0.

PROBLEM IS WHEN WE TURN ON CONTROLLER IT DOES NOT HOLD AND TURNS ON TO EMERGENCY STOP ITSELF AND THE SAME ALARM APPEARS CAN YOU TELL WHAT CAN BE POSSIBLE SOLUTION TO THIS AS I THINK WE NEED TO REOVE FUNMOTOR STOP.

ALSO DO YOU HAVE KEEP RELAY & OTHER PC DATA PARAMETERS FOR TOYODA FA 550 FANUC 15M SO THAT WE CAN PUT THOSE INPUTS IN THE CONTROLLER AS CURRENTLY WE DONT HAVE THESE PARAMETERS TOO.

    Sir
We were able to remove OH002N FUN MOTOR Stop alarm.

One unique problem we are facing in the machine is when we push/ on the control On button on the controller it does not hold it automatically applies emergency stop. We are not able to figure out problem and no any other alarm is showing.

Can you tell me what can be possible reason for this thing and how can we diagnose it.
