    Default Fanuc ot-d controll help

I have a shenyang no.1 tool works lathe.
It has a fanuc ot-d controll. Everything is working fine for now. It has a pneumatic shunk chuck that is operated by 24vdc solenoids one open & one close(stand alone wiring) .
I want to open and close the chuck with a mcode. I have litterally called everyone possible and send alot of emails. With 0% help whatsoever. I called fanuc...ive called MTB. All impossible to get help from.
I do not care what mcode is used as long as
Its not used already for a command.
I can upload the ladder diagram that i got with the lathe (not sure if its correct)if it helps.
Im not good with reading ladders at all.
I would need to figure out the 2 mcodes that would work for open/close.
I would need to also figure out the pinout for the i/o card. I have no wiring diagrams and giving up on finding one

I hope someone can help let me know if you need more info

    Hi,

What is the model/type of the machine.
Do you have any manuals, code-list, diagrams, etc.

    Regards,
    Heavy_Metal.

    Hi,

Did you try M10 - M11 for the chuck open/close.

Hello yes there is nothing hooked up to the Chuck besides the wires that I put there for manual operation I'm trying to get it to work like your thinking though

    Hi,

There are some manuals for the CAK50-61 on SMTCL Manuals User Guides - CNC Manual
    they use M10 - M11 and also (CAK36) M52-M53 for the tailstock, M70-M71 for a chipconveyor.
These for the Fanuc-0i-TD, maybe it works also for the 0T-D.

SMTCL CAK50 CNC Lathe Instruction Book for Mechanical Unit - CNC Manual
SMTCL CAK50 Instruction Book for Electrical Unit FANUC 0i Mate-TD - CNC Manual

You can try these codes in MDI-mode and see if there is any respons in the electrical cabinet.
If there is you can use the relays to activate the valves.

    Regards,
    Heavy_Metal.
