Default differences is Fnauc AC Servo motors

    Can a model 10 (a06b-0501-b002) and 10S (a06b-0315-b002) be used interchangeably?
The only difference I can find is the 10 is 144 volts and the 10S is 150v.
    The encoders are the same.
I want to know if you can drive a model 10 144v on a 6058 amp (possible parameter change)
6v difference does not seem like much.

    Fanuc says:
(Note) Make correct connections between a servo amplifier and motor used. If a wrong combination of an amplifier and motor is used, a malfunction such as motor vibration can occur, thus causing a failure.
    They also say:
In this manual we have tried as much as possible to describe all the various matters. However, we cannot describe all the matters which must not be done, or which cannot be done, because there are so many possibilities. Therefore, matters, which are not especially described as possible in this manual, should be regarded as “impossible”

(Even if you are doing it)

    .
I don't have my Fanuc motor data on this PC so it may have to wait till tomorrow to check the Fanuc motor info.

Al, did you ever find anything out? Also when using the 6058 amps, are servo transformers used like you need to with the 6050 amps??????
It looks like 200-230 (RST) just goes right to the drive regardless of the voltage of the motor? Is this correct?

I did not find anything on the motor difference apart from the encoder being identical.
    Correct of the RST.
