In a fanuc series O-M i get an alarm 100 P/S. When i press the param button, nothing happens....it suppose to show the parameters.
In the manual says change the PWE parameter from 1 to 0.How can i change the PWE parameter if i can't go to parameters?
Can somebody help me please.
Finally i managed to change the parameter PWE and was able to enter all the parameters, hopefully i had a hard-copy of them. Now the problem is that the PMC parameters are also lost. In the shop there is another similar mill machine with the same fanuc controller OM, from the same machine manufacture.
I managed to download the pmc parameters from this other machine to a file. How can i restore them to the first machine. When the first machine powers up there is a menu, asking about pmc file loading from I/O. How is this possible? This machine is in MDI mode and i can't change to EDIT mode at least from the machines operator panel, its not functioning.
Because nobody responded, let me rephrase my question.
How can i upload the pmc parameters to to a OM control, via serial port. The pmc is model L.
My second question is, how can i set the controller to EDIT mode. Now it is in MDI mode.
And my last question, is it possible, "worst case scenario", to operate the machine without pmc at all?, only basic moves, without ATC?
Does anybody know how do i get to system boot menu, if there is any in a OM-F control?
Something like in the attached file?
This description is for FS20, mine is a FS0.
Hi, you could try turn the power on while holding down the page up/down keys, or if you are using a 9” small unit turn the power on while holding down the cursor up and down keys instead of the page up/down keys. This should bring up the boot menu.
You can not get to the Boot mode on that controller because there isn't one. Edit Mode is done via ladder. G122.0, and G122.1 has to be on and G122.2 has to be off to get into Edit Mode The PMC parameter on that controller are in the diagnostic page. Diagnostic 300 and up. You can upload there like you did the parameters, or hand type them in.
Thank a lot for the reply "drdos". I was able to display the pmc ladder diagram by enabling parameter #60.1 Now i have another problem.
I can't see parameters 300 to 499. When i'm changing pages on the parameters screen the number jumps from 299 to 500.
Why does this happen? I want to enable the parameter #389.1 in order to see the servo setting screen.
