I would suggest you get at least an operators manual, as it seems that RS232 communication is going to be the least of your worries.

I've had the task of getting an OKK PCV60 with a Fanuc O-M controller to communicate with a PC via serial port assigned to me and know nothing about running the controller. The only person who did know has left the company. We need to send programs from the PC to the machine and haven't been able to get that done. I have been able to determine that the communication parameters are right on both ends. I can also see that there are three programs in the controller now and I don't know how to remove them.
Can someone give me step by step directions for sending a program from the PC to the controller starting with turning on the machine and controller?
Thanks much,
