Hello all! New to these forums, great info I've seen posted. I do have a question however. I have recently purchased a Takisawa TC-1 with a Fanuc 0-TC control. I am waiting patiently for an Operators manual from ebay and a programming manual from Fanuc America. What other manuals are suggested? Is there actually a parameter manual? One thing I did find out when programming a M68 (collet close) it waits for something, the command does not cancel. M69 however, works fine. Opens the collet and cancels itself. I've tried it in MDI, within a program to no avail. The parameter page looks greek to me, not what I'm used to plus I have no explaination on what numbers mean what. Also looks to be Binary? Thanks in advance, Dave (Schneider Machine) (A force of one) |

| Some M codes require confirmation, could be a pressure switch depending on the method the collet is closed. There is a Description manual Connection manual Programming manual Operators Manual Maintenance Manual Parameter Manual. Operation & Maintenance Manual. Then there is the MTB Manual for the Machine control and M codes etc. Al.

| Thank you Al, I can change the clamp via the key switch to internal or external. That in turn reverses the commands. M68 now opens the collet and cancels itself. M69 on the other hand will not cancel. So, what ever it's waiting for is unknown as the problem changes What manuals in the list do you recommend, what will I get the most bang for the buck out of? Besides the operators manual and programming manual because they are already on the way. Thanks again, Dave

| OK!!!!! Found the pressure switch. I Adjusted it lower and the m68 code will cancel, I feel kinda stupid. This is my first hydrolic machine, used to pneumatic ones. Soon I will learn the idiosyncrasy's of this dang thing, after all, it's what keeps it interesting. Dave

| Chuck pressure will also cause your clamp un clanp to move slower primairly your clamp, not much slower but you can tell,

| The programming manual from Fanuc America showed up on friday, sheese, does a person need a PHD and a Doctorate degree to understand the dang thing Today the manual from ebay showed up, sweet, wish I'd got that first Now it's time to do some tool block making, some reading, some programming, and some testing, but from what I gather the machine setting and tool settings are not what I'm used to. Seems confusing. Oh, it's not a G54 machine, it's a G50????? Dave

| See if you have parameter 910 bit #1 set (xxxxxx1x) This should be G54~59 Al.
