FANUC - CNC Spare parts

Dear all,

Does anyone here have a trustable company that can recommend as spare parts FANUC supplier? FANUC will not even talk to me since I am too small for them and I am located outside the US in Peru. FANUC keeps redirecting me to Mexico as if Mexico would be around the corner from us. I could take care of the domestic S&H, so that is not a problem, I have someone that would take care of the international S&H. all I need is a company that sales new and refurbished parts at a reasonable price and good quality. Thanks a bunch!

Right now we are in need of a servomotor ENCODER and a 18M CPU.

Thank you! Brazil is still quite far from us and US FANUC official will not talk to me unless I have a business set and running in the States. I have found this two places and I am going to give them a try.

It appears that we have lost our CPU board, although it could be one of the child cards that go mounted on it, the problem we have is that we have lost our graphics. so there is no CRT screen at all. We know for sure that there is nothing wrong with the CRT since sometimes the screen will start up.

So as of right now, we have decided to replace the whole control card. which is marked with the part# A16B-3200-0210.

There is a graphics module in the main control; the version depends on the display: monochrome crt, colour crt or lcd.

We have done enough testing to discard the chances of CRT failure. more inclined to suspect of a bad graphics module or the whole main control. Our CRT is monochrome.

I will have to double check tomorrow that I am going back to the machine again. I thought I have taken several photos of all the components, but I guess I missed some of the child cards. I only see a A20B-2902-0341 photo, it could be a different module.

Well, considering all the hustle that is required to bring any spare part from so far away, not to mention de price of the CPU itself, I wish there could be a way to make sure that our problem is the entire CPU unit and not only the graphics module. We are facing a tough decision point.

You have been down for a long time, which costs money. There are many of these modules on Ebay, starting at ~$160 including shipping (we can't do it cheaper). Get one and try it. If it doesn't work, you can look at buying the bare cpu.

Not a bad idea at all, and if this is the case, we would like to make sure this replacement module we get is a perfectly working one, in other words, we´d like to get a brand new one. Do you have it? How much would that cost?
