Default 4th axis compatibility with my Fanuc

    Hi there!

First post here but I can't recall the hour I spent reading thread here! I have a Yang SMV 1000 machining center that is pre-wired for a 4th axis. There is a Fanuc drive for the 4th axis, named A06B-6079-H103.

I can get my hand on a Fadal 4th axis for a reasonable price but I just want to be sure it's compatible with this drive. Just wanted to check here with more knowledgeble people before I empty the wallet!

    Thanks for reading

What kind of control is on the machine? Although the drive may be there, an option may need to be added in order for it to work properly. PLUS, the servo parameters will need to be set up.
