reload parameters in fanuc 0m

I loose all my parameters but i have a back up cd. I try to reload parameters but it doesn't work. I try to set manually communication parameters but it doesn't solve my problem. Also, where is the memory protect key???

how did you loose them?
We had a PROM chip go bad it would hold parameters for a few days and then wham they were all gone agian.
If you dont have a paper copy make one from the disk you have and start inputing by hand not sure how many i had to do before i could upload again im sure someone knows though here.
Will look in the book at work tomorrow and get back to you with the info if no one post befroe then.

Isn't the memory protect key the physical key on your front panel?

Incidentally there is usually 3 or 4 separate write protect inputs into the PMC, Parameters, Programs, offsets, most MTB's lump them together under one key.
