It's 9100, bit #2 (the 3rd bit from the right)
We have a couple Mori Seiki MH-40 horizontals. On the one we can do helical interpolation ie pipe threads and on the other we can't. So I believe we need to turn on one of the 9100 series parameters. Can someone tell me which one it is? Thanks! Oh...it's an 11M control/

Thanks Dan
I turned it on today with no difficulty.
BTW we've been using your software for more years that I can remember. It's the best!

Mr. Fritz,
I have an Fanuc 11M also, and just today was made aware that this machine is incapable of helical arcs. Unfortunately parameter list does not show #9100, I believe it might be hidden. Would you please explain a method to make visible.
Thanks,
Dan #2
TheePress: The parameters in the 9100 area should be visible on all Fanuc 10, 11, 12, and 15 controls. They are not hidden. Be sure to press the SYSTEM soft-key (not the SETTINGS soft-key). Under SYSTEM, you should be able to see all the parameters. Under SETTINGS, you will only be able to see certain selected parameters that don't need to be un-locked with the PWE bit.
You should be able to see these parameters in binary, but you can not enter the option paramters like the other parameters. You must use the special procedure that has been described before on this forum. Just to recap, it goes like this:
power off, press "-" and "." at the same time, turn the power on, enter "99" then INPUT at the ILD menu, enter the number of axes, then enter each parameter in the 9100 range in hexadecimal
Good luck.
Dan

THank You...Mr. Fritz,
Succesfully added helical option, following youre procedure.
In the future, could i not download parameters as a text file to computer, then use editor to change values in binary format and reload to machine?
What other goodies might be enabled under these option parameters?![]()
hey there,
does anyone have option parameter for fanuc 0?
thanks
Try parameter 910, bit #3 (the 4th bit from the right)
