every once in a while a slip of the finger does exactly that on the machine i work on primarily. All of the files in machine including the resident files for tool changing and probing routines etc. get dumped into ONE humongous file of which must be sorted out or dumped as being useless. best bet is to dwn load each file seperately for your backups and have all files backed up so that if in event of catasrophy ! i tried to do the seperating of the files, it can be done but it is not fun, and speaking of time ! think about it in that it takes even longer to dump everything ! then sort out later. Do your housework regular, don't wait till it is up to the window sils !

You can dump all the programs by entering -9999
or a range of programs from/to, by entering the start and end numbers.
    e.g. Oxxxx,Oxxxx
I have had no problems yet.

AL, I do believe he was refering to saving the files, not just getting rid of them, and saving them as he is implying would create one large contiguous conglomeration of uselessness ! I had someone try it and i had to fix it !

This does not erase them, some people like to make a hard copy of all the files as one file for archive purposes, but it is usually easy to extract for editing etc. by cut & paste.

Don't forget you need to set parameter 10 bit 4 to be able to save the protected system programs.

dump em via -9999 and then email it and pay a smart 10 y/old nephew/niece $100 bucks. It will be a deposit on a PS2 game for em, and will take em about, well for 450 programs like I got my nephew.....about 14 hours to put it on a *.txt file and email it back to you.. hehe..... good value for money if you ask me!!
