Having worked on Fanuc's for 20 years or so, if I were the tech's from Amada I would be ashamed of myself.

That problem should have taken no more than 1 hour to come to a conclusion.

I have written a lot of ladders for 0 series control and only a few things can stop the machine from moving when the subroutine for homing is called up.

I am not familiar with Amada however I can tell you there is nothing I can't diagnose on that control within an hour.

I see this all the time from factory tech's from (mtb) and some of them are lucky to find a customers plant without GPS let alone fix something without a dozen phone calls to the office.

OK so maybe I exagerated it may take me 2 hours.
Good Luck........if you can display the ladder and can give more details I can probably steer you in the right direction.

Good Luck if you are around the Los Angeles area call me

Display your ladder and search for G120.2 this is the cycle start signal
all the variables on that rung must be high to get a proper cycle start.

You will see what is holding you off.

You should see it turn off and on with the button

    Good Luck

    Question Amada

I know I can't help you with your problem sorry, but by chance you may be able to help me if your wattage is the same. The company that I am programming their laser is having trouble cutting 3/16 and 1/4 steel and I think it is more of a machine than program problem. If your laser is a 1500 or 2000 watt could you share the G65 P9100 like the example below with the setting you use for 3/16 and ¼ material.
    Thanks

    I do not use an H or a Q ?
AT APR. 50 IPM (might get away with up to 65 or 70) CUT SPEED & 1.0 kgf/cm2 This is what I would try.
    G65 P9100 S1500 B80 C25 I63 J2.0 W1500 T1000 U35 I63 J.5
Biggest thing i see is your U of 0 is giving you no duty cycle? And only using 1000 Watts for cutting? MUST have the 2.0 in the first J this is the time for piercing
Hope this helps. please let me know?
