kITAMURA MYCENTER-1 Help needed again!!

Hi There,

We have a kitamura Mycenter-1 with an Arm type tool changer. A tech from Fanuc america come here this morning to fix it, he told us that the macro program (9000) are missing.....

Does someone had a similar machine with a fanuc OM controller that could send us their 9000 program??
The year of the machine is a 1990 serial 2192.
Any help appreciated,

Thanks,
Alex

You can put your own program into the 9000 level programs.I'm not sure about the om,though. You need to enable parameter write in settings and set a parameter(6076?) which is attatched to a program number. You can use sub call by m or macro call by m.I'm surprised a fanuc rep could not do this for you.It is in the manual.

Do you have the hard copy of the macro? and just need to put it in?

If you dont have the hard copy you have a big problem especially if any pmc data was being used in the macro.

If you dont have it someone will have to write it that can look at the ladder and write the macro.

Usally on arm type changers there are two 9000 programs dealing with it.

If the pmc is not involved ...
and the changer uses switches or an encoder and knows where it is , it would be easy to write as you are dealing with two positions in Z axis.............one being the Z home and the other being G28 position.

Does your machine have a readout the gives the current pot position and the current tool in spindle?

If an encoder or switches are not used it gets complicated as there a few things needed to be done in parameters to make the tool versus pot to be correct.

I just went thru this with a customer and it was crazy the way the macro was done.

Why cant the builder give you the macro?

Good Luck

set parameter 6076 to 6, write program #O9006 each time the machine sees a M6 it will call sub O9006

parameter3202 bit #4 will allow you to unlock your 9000 series program
remember to LOCK it after you are finished editing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
