I have a Mori Seiki with a Fanuc 18i control on it. Mori put their interface on the control and I would like to get around it. If we get the machine to lock up we can then start it without the Mori overlay, but it is difficult to get it to lock up. Does anyone know how to start this machine and bypass the Mori interface??

what is the control is a msg 501 or what is it then i can help you

go to the setting/custom screen type in 999999999 then type in sample is this what you are looking for

press setting then nc

does this have a setting buttom or a custom buttom it would be a hard key by offsets, program etc.

What's wrong with the MAPPS interface? it has a lot of extra features that it offers that the Fanuc control does not.
