Is it possible to use a chuck close M-code at the beginning of a program on a Fanuc 6TB control? The interlock is not letting me do this as it thinks it 'unsafe'.

| Did you issue a "M05" spindle stop and "G04P2000" dwell time before the chuck close M-code? |

| There is a safety interlock for the cycle start. If the cluck is not closed the cycle start will not function(as well as other safety features). Even if I added something to the program it will not cyclestart if the cluck is open. I was hoping I would find a parameter to change. I did try the m31 in MDI and it does not complete the function, as though the NC is waiting for a input for the command to complete. I have not had time today to play with this further, but will get back on it in time.
