I've always used G83 type peck cycles where the drill returns to the R plain after every increment. ie- G83 G98 X0 Y0 Z-1.5 Q0.1 R0.1 F10 This would of course drill .1" then pull all the way out, then .1" deeper and pull all the way out etc etc.... What I want to do is drill .1" then pull up just a tiny to break the chip, then .1" deeper and up a tiny etc etc.... This is on a Daewoo with Fanuc 0M if it matters. |

| Yup use the G73 you should have it, Then in the parameters (I think its somewhere around 5130 if not it is easy enough to find it will be listed a G73 Cycle, Anyway in the parameters yiou can set the depth of cut and amount of chip break(pull back) Bluesman |
