| In any Fanuc Lathe Control when you call T0101 you are calling Tool #1 and Offset #1. If you don't want the turret to move when calling Tool#1 simply Call T01 with no offset. You will get just a tool change. Do this in MDI Mode I hope this is what you want. Also don't try to cut anything with no tool offset because you could wind up with an expensive mess. Tool #1 can also be called like this : T101 = Tool #1 and offset #01

| I've worked with 2 Fanuc control in the past and when I was entering in MDI : T0101, the tool didn't move, only the number on the screen. I need to call the offset to check my set-up, but don't want the tool to move. Thanks |

| Usually there is a parameter to change this, but I don't know what it is off the top of my head. It gives you the option to move the tool to the compensated position, or move the compensated coordinate system to the current tool position. It should be in the parameter manual if you have it. regards, Oz |
