Spindle Servo Alarm, Fanuc 3m, Help!

This is my first post, so bear with me here!
Got a problem with a machine I just bought. Could be simple, could be not.
Purchased a 1982 Kitamura Mycenter-1, down in Oregon. Had a rigger meet me at the place I bought it, to load it up. The previous owner had un-hooked the machine, but said everything worked good. Being a trusting lad, took his word for it and brought the machine back to the shop. Leveled it, wired in like the other two CNC's we own. Power up, home all axis, everything sonds OK.

Problem: SPINDLE DOES NOT COME ON.

    Heres what I do know:
    On the FANUC 3M control
Push the flashing alarm button and (8) lights up
Looked that up in the book and it says "SPINDLE SERVO ALARM"
Diagnostic BIT 7 = 1 which also means spindle servo alarm.
    In the back cabinet
It's got an AC spindle servo unit TYPE # A06B-6044-H007
Green LED on center of board "ON" other LED's off (until M3)
As soon as I push the spindle on button (or S500,input, m3,input,cycle start)
Red alarm LED's (8)(4) on bourd next to the green one come on.
    The magnetic contactor pops out.

This has me stumped! I know I should have inssisted he re-plug the machine in and let me here it run but I didn't. Is it posible something happened in transit? I've looked all over for some type of reset and check the fuses.

Any help in this would be great,
    Thank you

This is a high current alarm. Sound like your spindle drive is bad. You can check your transistors for a short circuit. If your transistors are shorted, it normally takes out the top board. Call me if you need unit tested/repair 813-983-1870
