Bubble memory

Hi there,

I wonder if anyone can help me!!!!

My problem is with Fanuc 11-TE system on MoriSeiki machine.
It has a bubble memory fault. I bought new one, to be exact, a replacement, SRAM (BMU) card. I passed initialization procedure, and... WHAT NOW????

I tried to write parametars and programs via RS232, but it seems like nothing is beeing write to bubble!!!!

If anyone have some sugestion, please HELP

It may be a long shot, but I rember working with one of these machines and a blown indicator lamp on the control panel caused the machine to stop working.

Did you do the complete initialization as per appendix 16 of the maintenance manual?
What happens after the initialization?

Hi there Al,
yes, I did initialization procedure as in the "book",and I get screen with:

Form bubble: end
Clear bubble: end
Bubble preparation: end
Load system label: end

And also, some option selector, and I choose

"end IPL",

and, I get

"check system label: error"!!!!

What is that, when and how do I need to enter system label????
