    Fanuc non tape modes

Our shop just got a big order and requires dnc to our mills. We have 2 machines that have non dnc capabilities (11m and Om-d). Is there a way to set params or jumpers to just have these machines dnc only, so we could expedite the job? The 11m has "mem" when selector switch is set to tape mode, and ladder logic is written in this way. or does any one know an inexpensive way to get these converted. We are a small shop and this means a lot to us.

You need to get programs to your control? You don't have RS232? If you have a tape read on your machine you should be able to set-up your machine with a "BTR" (behind tape reader) unit to act as your port for DNC. I can't remember any manufactures name for these units. FANUC should be able to help you set up your PARAM's.

    Dnc

I have a Fanuc 10M with no tape mode and have been trying to dripfeed for 2-3 years.
This is vary expensive to change, and just finding someone to help seems impossible.
Forget any help from Fanuc they do not support 11 modals any longer.
If somehow you get this problem solved please Email me back on how you did it.

Does anybody know where I can get an operators manual for a fanuc 15m-a controller?
