im currently setting up a fanuc o-m to recieve programs from pc using rs232 cable, running surfcam keep getting 085 087 001 alarms have com 1 setting the same but still getting alarms

any help would be appreciated

You still have to set up the rest of the communications.... Baud rate, parity, hand shake etc. Surfcams communicator and the machine needs to be set up so that they can talk to each other.
