    Hi folks
Again i need your help in a new problem and i hope we can find a solution.

i want to make somehow on a new lathe wih fanuc 0i-TD to have a memory capacity of storage of 20gb.
i don,t know if is possible or not but i hope someone met this problem and solve it.

even the latest controls don't have that much storage. not even as an option.
why do you need 20GB in the controller?

Better to have the files uploaded via the ethernet connection.
They can all be backed up safely ;-)

hmmm, the client needs some education about what is possible and what is necessary.
its better to store programs on a PC. the ethernet option may be the best way to have direct access to them.

hi. i have a problem too. i have a machine t250 - oi-td and i want to make it work via ethernet. i made the connection, i see files from ftp server that a installed on a computer.so the files that i see i cant manipulate them. for example i want to do a copy paste from network into the cnc. i does not appear in the lower menu nothing that helps me. i read somethhing about two things. one: to be activate the edit mode(i saw a button wich is you see edit on it) and second:the parameter 20 must be equal to 5 .(default the i/o parameter is 4 for card memory) the problem is that i can t modify that parameter. it says is write protected. how can i eliminate that write protect. sorry for my bad english.

You can change that on the SETTINGS screen. I/O Device=9 for Embedded Ethernet, 5 for Data Server. My guess is you have Embedded Ethernet.
