Spindle error code 35

Just brought a secondhand cnc lath and I am getting a spindle error code 751 saying Alarm-35.

What happens is that the maxium spindle speed is 3,000 rpm if you try to start at full speed the alarm comes on. if you start below 2,000 and speed up to 3,000 then hit the stop button it goes alarm. All test have been from the key board not in the program,

Any suggestion appricated.

Problem solved
Spindle speed override select switch when on stops the error.

Okay spindle is still over loading,
Only does it at high speed on start up or stopping. Its max speed is 3,200 rpm. The unit has hydrulic chuck. When the spindal has been running for a hour it seems to warm up or something because the problem goes away.

Could it be that the friction in the spindle is to high when it s cold?
Or even sad bearings?
or rubbish build up between the hydrulic cuck pipe and the main head which cause to much friction.

Anyway were to know please.
